Genealogy One-On-One Research Help
These Genealogy help sessions will take place each Saturday in June. Participants are encouraged to bring their "beginner" genealogical questions. The Genealogy Members will help people get started and will give tips on next steps for the participants in their genealogical search. Experienced, but not professional, genealogists will be present to offer their best suggestions and guidelines. Registration is required and there is a $5 fee per session. Summer Reading 2013 Kick-Off Event
Join us for the kick-off to the 2013 Summer Reading program as we celebrate at John McIntire Library with balloon animals, temporary tattoos and more! You can even register early for Summer Reading. Summer Reading is the 6 week read-for-fun program that runs June 10th through July 20th. Registration opens Monday, June 3rd at all six public libraries in Muskingum County.

Dig Into Gardening
Master gardeners invite students in grades 2-6 to Dig Into Gardening at this fun, hands on program. Participants will learn all about how to plan and plant a garden and will create their own container of flowers to take home. They may even want to then enter their creation in the Master Gardener's July 10th event - Earth to Art! Teen Summer Reading 2013 - Dig Into Reading
Teen Summer Reading 2013 – Dig Into Reading! – Teen Summer Readers determine and set their own goals for the number of books they will read and report during the 6 week read-for-fun program. Teens can register starting June 3rd at any of the 6 public libraries in Muskingum County and can start reporting books June 10th. Participants will receive a free book pack when they report their first book and coupons for the first, third and fifth books reported. Teens reaching their Summer Reading goal will receive a free book and be entered in a drawing for some grand prizes. There will also be special Summer Reading Events that registered Teen Summer Readers can enjoy. Contact the library where you are interested in participating for more information.

Dig In @ The Works in Newark – Teens that have read and reported 1 book will be eligible to register for a fun trip to The Works and the Great Circle Mound in Newark, Ohio.
