Brenda Nixon, speaker and author of Beyond Buggies and Bonnets: Seven True Stories of Former Amish, will share her unique insights and amazing stories of the fascinating Amish American sub culture. With her emphasis on the reclusive Swartzentruber Order, Brenda's book chronicles her experiences "adopting" two Amish runaways, befriending and helping others, and actually becoming mother-in-law to an ex-Amish.
