Area adults are invited to read and discuss this heart racing story of a man’s treacherous journey through the twists and turns of the Underground Railroad on a mission to save a boy he swore to protect. The author gives us a stirring and uplifting tale of the triumph of compassion and courage over bigotry and brutality. This story jumps off the page and the characters are unforgettably human. Registered participants will be loaned a copy of the book. Registration is requested for this free program and can be completed below or by contacting the Reference Desk at 740.453.0391, ext. 116 or 132.
