The Zanesville Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and the MCLS have partnered to present this special Women’s History Month program featuring noted historian and professor emerita of Muskingum University, Dr. Lorle Porter. The author of numerous books including The Immigrant Cocoon, St. Patrick’s People: Irish and English Catholics in Ohio, and A People Set Apart: The Scotch Irish in Ohio, Dr. Porter is a much sought after, dynamic speaker who will share stories of the region’s immigrant women.
