Andrew Ashby

Andrew Ashby, PHR, serves as Human Resources Director for the Muskingum County Library System. He oversees employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits support, compliance, safety, staff development, and HR systems. Prior to joining MCLS, Andrew worked in human resources at Muskingum University, Farber Specialty Vehicles/Custom Coach, Ohio Rural Water Association, and 5B’s Embroidery and Screen Print. He earned his BA in Organizational Leadership with a Human Resources track from the University of Cincinnati and is certified through HRCI as a Professional in Human Resources.

Andrew is a lifelong resident of Muskingum County and enjoys staying active in the community. He lives in Zanesville with his husband Keenan, and their dog, Elle.
