The Muskingum County Library System (MCLS) is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed to staggered seven-year terms. The Muskingum County Commissioners appoint four of the positions on the Board. The Court of Common Pleas appoints the other three. Members of the Board serve without compensation.
Board of Trustees Meetings are open to the public and held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 AM. If you would like to attend a meeting, it is encouraged for members of the public to contact the library. This will allow us to ensure you have up-to-date information about the meeting.
