The Muskingum County Library System (MCLS) is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed to staggered seven-year terms. The Muskingum County Commissioners appoint four of the positions on the Board. The Court of Common Pleas appoints the other three. Members of the Board serve without compensation.
Board of Trustee Meetings are open to the public and held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 AM. If you would like to attend a meeting, it is encouraged for members of the public to contact the library. This will allow us to ensure you have up-to-date information about the meeting. If you would like to speak at a meeting, please review our Public Comment at Board of Trustee Meetings Policy and contact us prior to the meeting using the Office Assistant tab in the form below or by calling 740.453.0391 ext. 126.
