Service Updates During Our Next Phase of the Remodel
Thank you for your patience as we move into the final stretch of the John McIntire Library remodel. During this time, our goal is to keep services as accessible and convenient for you as possible.
Below you will find a list of key dates, hours, and service changes to help you plan your library visits. All MCLS branch library locations will remain open and ready to serve you throughout this final phase.
We are excited to welcome you to the newly remodeled John McIntire Library this coming spring!
Saturday, January 3
- Last day John McIntire Library “Mini Mac” is open
- All branch library locations remain open during regular hours
Sunday, January 4
- John McIntire Library is CLOSED — No services until Monday, January 12
- John McIntire Library building will remain closed to the public until the grand reopening in the spring of 2026
Monday, January 5
- Our Colony Square Mall hours increase
- We are located in the Food Court
Monday–Thursday: 11 AM–7 PM
Friday: 11 AM–6 PM
Saturday: 10 AM–4 PM
Monday, January 12
- Curbside reopens for holds pick up and *limited printing at the John McInitre Library
- When you arrive, park in the south lot along Shinnick Street and call 740.453.0391 and dial 0
Monday–Thursday: 10 AM–7 PM
Friday: 10 AM–6 PM
Saturday: 10 AM–4 PM
*Prints and copies are limited to ten (10) per patron, per day via curbside — for larger print or copy jobs, please visit your closest MCLS branch library
